AFTERdefeat a week earlier, Welling United bounced back to see off title chasing St Albans City with an excellent second-half performance.
Jack Parkinson headed wide for Welling early on before Zane Banton missed a couple of half chances for the visitors.
Sam Merson volleyed a corner wide at the near post for St Albans, then Jack Jebb drilled a freekick over for the hosts as the first half finished in stalemate.
