THESE two relegation dogfighters played out a rather tame goalless draw. The Trawlerboys best two chances fell inside the first five minutes.
Harvey Hodd’s close range shot from Robert Eagle’s cross was cleared off the goalline.
Then Rory McAuley’s header from Eagle’s dangerous floated free-kick saved at the second attempt by Matte Pierson.
After that early flurry the game became a midfield battle with neither side really troubling the defences and neither keeper had to make a save worthy of the name.
