BRAINTREE ended their six-game winless run by overcoming hard-working visitors Poole Town much to the relief of home manager Brad Quinton.
“It’s good to get back to winning ways and keep a clean sheet while it was a much-improved all-round performance,” he told The NLP.
The all-important goal came after 31 minutes of Dan Thompson’s Braintree debut, with the former Tonbridge Angels striker being left unmarked at the far post to easily head home from a Ben Wyatt left wing cross.
