LUKE Woolfenden did not hesitate to sacrifice the comforts of Ipswich Town’s U23s and drop three divisions into the National League last December.
The 19-year-old defender has played almost every minute since his loan switch to aid Bromley’s push for promotion and an FA Trophy final.
Under manager Neil Smith, a battle-hardened former Non-League defender, Woolfenden could hardly be in a better environment to master the senior game.
And he’s in good company with ex-Premier League centre-back Roger Johnson nurturing him in the Ravens defence.
