HARROGATE Town have signed former Sheffield United Striker Jake Wright in a bid to replace the departed Simon Ainge, who signed for Wrexham on loan two weeks ago.
Wright, 21, was shown the exit door by the Championship club this week despite being a prolific scorer for the under-23 side this season.
National League North title hopefuls Harrogate have moved quickly to snap up the talented prospect on a free transfer with the forward believing the chance of regular first team football will give him the ideal platform to work his way back into the Football League.
