TRURO stormed back into the play-off places as they came out on top in a fullblooded contest against one of their promotion rivals.
It was a second crucial victory for the Cornish side, after last week’s 1-0 win at St Albans City, and they will be hoping to make it three in a row when leaders Havant & Waterlooville visit Treyew Road on Tuesday.
An early free-kick from Ed Palmer and a penalty midway through the second half by Connor Riley-Lowe, proved enough to give them their first home success since New Year’s Day.
