Parkes powers in Hemel’s winner

HEMEL HEMPSTEAD grabbed the three points after putting in a superb second-half performance in a game that was closer than the scoreline suggests.
The opening period was very even but it was visitors Gloucester City who ended the half in the ascendancy, having taken the lead after 38 minutes when Ed Williams arrived unmarked to tuck the ball away, beating Tudors keeper Laurie Walker at his near post.
After the restart, City looking comfortable until 57 minutes when David Moyo took advantage of a slip to score from close range.
