SAM Walker’s goal early in the second half was enough for Curzon to see off spirited Tamworth.
Walker finished neatly following good work from the dangerous Joe Guest in the 54th minute which proved enough to bag a vital three points as they fight to stay clear of the drop zone.
But it had been Tamworth who fired the first shot in anger – Rhys Sharpe hitting a superb 25-yard strike which skimmed off Cameron Mason’s right hand post.
