CHIPPENHAM TOWN increased their chances of survival with a comprehensive win over out-of-sorts Eastbourne Borough.
The Bluebirds rattled in three first half goals to establish an unassailable lead by the interval. But the first chance fell to the Sports with Ian Simpemba heading over a first minute corner.
The hosts took the lead three minutes later when Andy Sandell went past several defenders before crossing to Alex Ferguson, who planted a firm header beyond the reach of Borough keeper Mark Smith.
