RAIN RUINS A GOOD FRIDAY

DULWICH and Dorking’s efforts to set up a spectacle for the Mayor of London were thwarted by incessant rain at the Hamlet’s temporary home at the KNK Stadium, as the referee was forced to abandon the contest with barely a quarter of an hour gone.
With Sadiq Khan and a fourfigure crowd in attendance for this Good Friday clash, referee Dean Skipper made a bold decision to start the match as the rain got heavier just before kick-off.
