SALISBURY took another step towards promotion to the Evo-Stik South Premier after Owen Howe’s penalty earned a hardfought victory at mid-table Kidlington.
With just four matches of the season left, the Whites are five points clear of third-placed Bristol Manor Farm, following their 13th away win of the season.
After a scrappy first half on a bobbly pitch, Salisbury were given the chance to break the deadlock after 67 minutes when Howe was brought down in the box.
