TWO second-half goals from Luke Lofts gave North Ferriby a win away at FC United, to end on a high.
With the bottom club beating a team with one of the best home records, it could be considered an upset but North Ferriby were good value for their victory.
With nothing more than pride to play for, the game was played at what would politely be called a “pre-season tempo” and as such chances were few and far between.
