A PUNISHING run of 12 games in 26 days finally took its toll on Northern Counties East Premier side Liversedge this week after their midweek game with Bottesford Town had to be abandoned after 75 minutes due to a shortage of players.
On Monday, Liversedge won 3-2 at Rainworth Miners Welfare after extra time in the quarter final of the League Cup.
Then, 24 hours later, they hit the road again, to Bottesford, in a league game and had to start with a bare 11 players.
