I PLANNED to go to last weekend’s National League Promotion Final at Wembley as a neutral.
However, the cheapest tickets were £36 with a £3 booking fee per ticket on top. Also, it was £2.50 extra if you wanted them posted or £1.95 just to pick the tickets up on the day. There was even a charge of £1 if you wanted to print them off yourself at home.
I decided it was a rip-off and didn’t go. Judging by the crowd of 16,000, I wasn’t the only one.
I am also a season ticket holder at Reading which costs me £14.13 per game.
