THERE hasn’t been a lot to shout about at Chester FC these last few months but this week – finally – we were given a pleasant surprise.
The appointment of Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley – the joint managers who won National League North last season with Salford City – is a timely boost to everyone at the club and gives fans some muchneeded hope for the future.
We hear talk also that a takeover is close to being negotiated at the Deva Stadium, and with these two guys in charge the proud name of Chester FC can once again be restored.
