IN the build-up to Finals Day, I had interviewed Bromley skipper Jack Holland on a number of occasions as we previewed the big day. Jack was a great talker, who spoke with immense pride, as a Bromley boy, at leading out his hometown club at Wembley.
There are certain players you build a relationship with and while I must confess to not knowing Jack as well as some at the paper, he struck me as the kind of guy you would want in the trenches with you; a top player and a top bloke.
