DARREN Byfield is back in football – with Southern Premier League club Stratford Town.
The much-travelled Football League striker, who scored over 100 goals in his career, left his job as Redditch United manager late last year after spending 18 months with the Reds.
The 41-year-old replaces Carl Adams, who ended his six-year stint in charge of Town at the end of the season.
Byfield said: “I am delighted to join Stratford it is a beautiful stadium and excellent an set up, I’ve got a real hunger to get back into management.
