BILLINGHAM Synthonia boss Jamie Tunstall is the new boss of Crook Town.
He replaces Chris Lax who had been in charge of the Northern League Division Two side since last October.
Lax had succeeded Wilf Constantine, who quit with the club facing a relegation battle. But Crook still finished fourth from bottom under Lax.
Synthonia, meanwhile, have named former Manchester City midfielder Jamie Pollock as their new manager.
They finished bottom of Division One and were relegated after taking just 13 points from 42 games.
