RUSHALL OLYMPIC have had 12 points deducted from last season’s total for playing an ineligible player in the EVO-STIK League.
The FA sanctioned the club on Wednesday after rejecting their appeal against the decision of the Northern Premier League for playing Dominic Dell in 17 league fixtures when his contract registration had not been approved.
Olympic ended the season in eighth place with 66 points but have now finished in 18th.
They were also fined £100 with £120 costs.
