AMARI MORGANSMITH hit the only goal of this game in the 66th minute.
The home side, under new manager Gavin Cowan, had the better of the first half but only created a couple of halfchances.
The closest being Morgan-Smith’s header which landed onto the roof of the net.
Port proved hard to break down, and it was their set-pieces that gave the Bucks the most cause for concern, though on a couple of occasions Nathan Lowe’s delivery left something to be desired.
