FOLKESTONE were imperious against a Wingate & Finchley side who were down to ten men for the entire second half.
Invicta took the lead on 10 minutes, breaking after a Wingate attack. A cross from the left was met by an unmarked Johan ter Horst, who finished with a simple volley.
Gate keeper Shane Gore was called into action to palm away Ronnie Dolan’s header at the back post. Just before the halfhour mark, Marc Charles-Smith and Rob Laney exchanged a headed one-two only for the former to acrobatically volley wide.
