A WONDER strike by Michael Abnett gave Merstham a welldeserved first win of the season.
The full-back’s 61stminute strike a rare moment of quality in a hard- fought, but scrappy affair.
The first-half was instantly forgettable, with goal-mouth action at a premium.
The half ‘s one clearcut opportunity fell to Fabio Saraiva after some good work by Kershaney Samuels, but he blazed his shot high and wide from 10 yards.
