TWO well-taken first half goals were enough to see Beaconsfield Town through to the next round.
They tested visiting keeper Paul McCarthy via early efforts from Charlie Losasso and Brendan Matthew.
Then, a fine run and curled effort from Louis Stead on 29 minutes broke the deadlock.
Uxbridge offered little in response and it was no surprise when they went further behind on 41 minutes.
This time, Losasso fired home after some fine work by Andre Costa.
In the second half, both sides struggled to create any meaningful chances.
