BARNSTAPLE Town’s wait for a first point this season continued with a heavy home defeat to Blackfield & Langley.
Liam Robinson opened the scoring for the away side, finishing off a flowing move that involved Ryan Oatley and Pip Nolan to give the away side the perfect start. The Barnstaple defence conceded again before half-time, with Nolan burying it past the keeper at the second attempt after his initial effort was blocked. The hosts chased a way back but Blackfield were too strong on the counter.
