PICKERING Town registered their first win of the season in a battling encounter against Lincoln United at Ashby Avenue.
After both sides found the net with efforts that were ruled out for offside, Pickering opened the scoring with a controversial penalty, when the linesman’s flag was overruled.
Ryan Blott made no mistake as he confidently stroked home the spot-kick. Billy Logan made it 2-0 with a deflected shot but the Whites set up a grandstand finish when Rob Norris fired in.
