‘Anorak’ is unfair

ONE thing that has disappointed me this season is that my club, Needham Market, along with a number of other clubs, have discontinued producing a printed matchday programme.
I like to collect a match programme from each game I attend. It’s all part of the matchday experience and provides a permanent souvenir of the day out.
At one ground I visited recently, I was described as an “anorak” for complaining about the absence of a programme. I really don’ t think this is fair, and I’m sure that there is still a healthy demand for a printed programme.
