KETTERING Town saw out a crazy final 12 minutes after controlling much of the game.
A Brett Solkhon penalty after 22 minutes and a Ben Milnes free-kick on 56 had seemingly put the tie to bed. In truth the hosts should have been out of sight by half-time with fantastic opportunities for Lathaniel Rowe-Turner and Gary Stohrer both spurned.
The Poppies continued to be wasteful in the second half and gifted the visitors their goal – Paul White needlessly running off his line to look foolish as Brad Wells slid the ball home.
