SILSDEN staged a dramatic fightback to win 3-2 at Winsford United and leapfrog City of Liverpool, who were involved in the FA Cup. The home side looked set to pull off a surprise and much-needed win as goals from Scott Taylor and Peter Whiting gave them a 2-1 lead going into the final few minutes. Reece Lyndon had opened the scoring for Silsden early on but all the drama came late on.
Joseph Mitchell hit an 83rd minute equaliser before Kyle Hancock cut inside his marker to fire in the 89thminute winner.
