Hunger pains over with Rebels on rise

ONLY the fifth ever league meeting between the two clubs saw Slough finally come away with a win.
It was Hungerford though who started brightest with Darren Foxley finding himself one-on-one but Jack Turner produced a fine saw to keep the scores at 0-0.
On 34 minutes Hungerford’s James Rusby pulled down Warren Harris who had broken free on the right wing and was shown a yellow card by referee Matthew Russell. From that free-kick, Slough opened the scoring with Mathew Stevens getting ahead of his marker to turn in from close range.
