BILLY HUNT was on the spot for Brightlingsea to earn them a late stoppage- time point in suburban Brighton.
Whitehawk started brightly with Jason Williams hitting the post in the fourth minute, and then testing Rs keeper James Bradbrook from distance with a fine free-kick.
And Williams began the move which gave the Hawks a 34th-minute lead.
He delivered a low cross which Bradbrook could only palm away straight into the path of Ky Marsh-Brown who smashed home from close range.
