CHORLEY were condemned to their first defeat to the season by a spirited Bradford Park Avenue.
The two sides cancelled each other out in the first half, failing to find the attacking flair that both promotion-chasers possess.
Jamie Vermiglio’s Magpies did show, however, the defensive steel that allowed them to head into the game with an unblemished record.
