WESTON’S miserable campaign continued as they slid to defeat against Concord.
Second-half goals from Liam Nash and Jack Midson saw the points head back to Essex.
Jake Lee pulled one back, but it mattered little as Marc McGregor’s Seagulls plunged deeper into the mire while the visitors closed in on the playoff places.
Chances were at a premium in a poor first half, with Concord keeper Sam Beasant’s save from Jarrad Welch’s 20-yarder a rare moment of excitement.
