REDBRIDGE had to live on their nerves in the second half before they finally saw off Peterborough Northern Star.
The Motor Men had plenty of chances in the first half, but only managed to convert one.
After three minutes, Samuel Phillips had a low drive that was saved comfortably by Quincy Shorunmu. Jack Stevenson’s pass playing Ashley Blackburn through on 31 minutes and he found the opener when his curled effort hit the back of the net.
