BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent welcomed Carshalton Athletic to the Taydal Stadium as the R’s looked to follow up some great away form with their first home match in over a month. The R’s were completely on top for the first 20 minutes but failed to capitalise.
Billy Hunt went close with a great turn on the edge of the box, and a snapshot beating the Carshalton goalkeeper but not the framework of the goal as it bounced back off the post.
