HASTINGS United made hard work of defeating a workmanlike Three Bridges to maintain their second place in the table.
United opened the scoring after only three minutes when Youssouf Bamba cut in from the left and fired home from 12 yards.
The lead was short-lived though as Bridges levelled things up in the 12th minute. Slack defending allowed Brannon O’Neill to fire home.
Play was fairly even thereafter with clear-cut chances few and far between.
