THE FA Trophy holders negotiated the first hurdle of their defence, comfortably beating fellow National League North side Nuneaton. Lee Ndlovu scored all three goals in 12 secondhalf minutes to take his season’s tally to 13.
After a first half of few goal threats at either end, the second was a different story as Saints dominated.
Matt Lowe could only direct his header wide and Ndlovu was off target when well placed from Connor Franklin’s cross before Ndlovu made the breakthrough just before the hour mark.
