BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent climbed out of the bottom three with a hard-fought win against fellow strugglers Burgess Hill.
Regent old boy Aaron Condon, recently returned to the Taydal Stadium, made his mark with two well-taken goals and an assist to ease the pressure on manager Tom Rothery and lift the mood around the North Essex club.
Brightlingsea started the game brightly and took the lead when, following a cross shot from the ever dangerous Condon, a scramble in the six-yard box saw centre half Josh Gould poke the ball in from a yard.
