CARSHALTON moved to sixth in the league as they comfortably grabbed victory against a lacklustre Enfield Town.
This game between eighth and ninth at Colston Avenue was quite open during the first 45 minutes but, although the home side were the more dominant, chances were at a premium.
The best opportunity before the deadlock was broken fell to Carshalton player boss Peter Adeniyi who worked keeper Joe Wright on 25 minutes.
