TRURO City enjoyed a winning return to Treyew Road after a 150-day absence as they cruised past a struggling Weston.
Two goals apiece from Plymouth Argyle loanee Dan Rooney and former Argyle striker Tyler Harvey, who also had a penalty saved, saw off the rather limp challenge of the visitors.
A crowd of 255 had braved the miserable conditions to welcome the White Tigers back to Treyew for what at this stage was a “one-off” game, with City due to finish the year back playing their National League South matches at Torquay United’s Plainmoor.
