BLYTH SPARTANS stretched their unbeaten run to ten games as York’s miserable festive period continued.
Spartans keeper Peter Jameson was the star turn as Blyth avenged two earlier defeats against City.
Sub Bradley Fewster pounced for Spartans’ winner on 84 minutes, just seconds after former Blyth loanee Macaulay Langstaff looked to have won it.
Langstaff ‘s header was ruled out for offside, with Fewster scoring from the resultant free-kick in an end-to-end finale.
