CHORLEY closed the gap on leaders Bradford Park Avenue to one point after their win at Curzon Ashton.
The Magpies took a 13thminute lead when Marcus Carver was picked out by a cross from the right, and when unmarked at the back post, he had time to pick his post and head past Curzon keeper Mason Cameron.
The Nash battled back and on 25 minutes Mason Fawns smashed a free-kick from just outside of the Chorley box against the post with visiting keeper Tony McMillan beaten.
