CHELMSFORD recovered from conceding an early goal to claim their fourth win in six matches.
Visitors Hemel Hempstead led inside two minutes when Clarets keeper Ashley Maynard- Brewer was caught in no-man’s land, allowing Stephen Cawley to lob him from distance.
Good link-up play from the Clarets almost fashioned an equaliser on 19 minutes, but Scott Fenwick’s header curled agonisingly wide after good movement from Chris Whelpdale on the right.
