CHIPPENHAM ended a seven-game winless run, in unexpectedly fraught circumstances.
After apparently cruising to victory, they were indebted to keeper Brad House for saving a late penalty.
Chippenham led on eight minutes Jack Compton sublimely set up Karnell Chambers to slide a shot past Tom Lovelock.
Kieran Parselle’s header was ruled out for a foul on Lovelock.
But the Bluebirds doubled their lead on the half hour when Will Richards headed home Josh Smile’s corner.
