ON BOXING DAY Blyth Spartans fans caught a glimpse of one of the most unusual commercial link ups in Non-League football.
A hoarding at the National League North club’s Croft Park home has been leased to the travel company Visit North Korea, who offer tours to the infamous totalitarian state.
Explaining the deal in the club’s match day programme for the Boxing Day game against Spennymoor Town, commercial manager Mark Scott said: “Visit North Korea provides expert led travel with an emphasis on engagement in the world’s most secretive country.
