A STALEMATE prevailed in Lincolnshire as leaders Nantwich were held to a goalless draw by play-off chasing Gainsborough Trinity.
In a game where two good sides largely cancelled each other out, defences were on top for much of the game, with chances at a premium. Trinity had the best chance of the game, when Ben Gordon was fouled by Troy Bourne as he surged into the penalty area.
Referee Gareth Myers awarded the home side their first penalty of the season.
Top scorer Ashley Worsfold was, however, denied by a fine low save by Dabbers’ goa...
