FRANNIE Collin’s 86th-minute spot-kick rescued a point for Margate against a Worthing side still harbouring realistic title ambitions. The opening 45 minutes were even and with two solid defensive lines, the half’s clearest opportunities arose from set-pieces. The first opportunity fell to the hosts’ Dave Martin, whose powerful shot from a free-kick played short, whistled over the Worthing bar.
