MERSTHAM survived a second-half onslaught by Enfield Town as their impressive unbeaten run against the league’s top sides continued.
Enfield threatened from a number of set pieces early on and Merstham keeper Amadou Tangara made a fine stop to deny Matt Johnson.
Less than a minute later Merstham were in front. A good move found Kershaney Samuels on the right flank.
His driven near post cross went straight into Joe Wright’s hands, but the keeper inexplicably fumbled and Walter Figueira pounced for the opener.
