SPENNYMOOR Town overturned a half-time fine deficit with two free-kicks to seal their first-ever league win over Darlington, in a low-key affair at Blackwell Meadows.
There was little between the teams, and despite being promotion contenders Town were disappointing in the first half.
Quakers went ahead on 17 minutes when Stephen Thompson scored a from the penalty spot, after he was scythed down by James Curtis.
