WHITEHAWK’S outstanding first-half display and a secondhalf goalkeeping masterclass by Melvin Minter gave their hopes of avoiding relegation a seismic boost at play-off chasing Kingstonian.
The Hawks dominated from the off. But Ks led on 15 minutes when Shaun McAuley’s miscued drive was diverted past Minter by Elliott Buchanan.
The sides were level in the 27th minute, Lucas Santos Rodrigues weaving past and through a series of challenges and rifling a terrific right-foot shot past Ks keeper Rob Tolfrey from 15 yards.
