SECOND-PLACED Runcorn Linnets and Leek Town played out an intriguing 1-1 draw in a result that doesn’t suit either side in their push for promotion.
A moment of magic put the visiting Linnets ahead inside eight minutes when the ball fell perfectly for Paul Shanley who expertly volleyed the ball into the net for the first-half lead.
